For McLaren’s South Korea event, I led the 3D creative from concept and storyboarding through to animation and final delivery. Built around the Artura Spider, the work translates the car’s sculptural curves and racing heritage into a flowing visual language. Sakura blossoms, light, and motion drift across the chassis, interwoven with subtle references to South Korea’s iconic landmarks, creating a dialogue between precision engineering and cultural atmosphere.

The event film was structured across three chapters - morning, day and night, each aligned to a different vehicle colour. Together, they explore how the Artura Spider’s character shifts throughout the day in South Korea, using light, colour and atmosphere to explore the supercar’s identity.

In parallel, I designed and built an interactive blossom experience using hand-tracking and flocking systems. Delivered under an intense deadline, the project was a true labour of love and a result I’m proud to stand behind.
